Our second child was due at the beginning of November, but once again, I had blood pressure problems and ended up being induced about 2 weeks early.  Leah Jane arrived at 1:56 pm on Tuesday, October 22, 2002.  She weighed 7lbs. 1oz. and was 20 1/4 inches long.  She is another healthy daughter for our family. 

Leah started smiling when she was a month old, giggling a little around 2 months and good belly laughing at 3 months.  She is so sweet!  She also learned to roll over at 3 months.  She slept through the night sporadically starting at 3 months, but didn't do it regularly until she weaned at 15 months.  She learned to sit up around 5.5 months and crawl at about 7.5.  She learned to pull up and cruise around 8.5 months and took her first step on 9/3/03, at 10.5 months.  At 6 1/2 weeks, she weighed 10lbs, 8oz.  At 4 months, she weighed 14 lbs. 6oz. and was 25 inches long.  At 6 months, she was about 16 pounds and 26 inches.  At 9 months, she was almost 18 lbs and 27 inches.  She turned 2 in October and now weights over 26lbs. and is 34 inches tall.  She is learning to talk pretty well now.  Leah suffered through many ear infections before finally getting tubes in her ears on May 18, 2004.  She is much happier now and her vocabulary had tripled within 3 weeks of her surgery.
