Anna was due to arrive on Mommy's 22nd birthday, Feb. 2, 2001, but around the end of October, 2000, Mommy's blood pressure
started going up. Mommy quit working for good in the middle of December and started resting more, but by the time she
was 37 weeks pregnant, it was time for Anna to be born. Mommy went into the hospital to be induced on Friday, January
12, 2001. Finally, 25 hours later, Anna was born at 12:21AM on Sunday, January 14, 2001. She was healthy and cute
and all that her Mommy and Daddy could ask for. There was some debate over whether she'd be named Anna or Ava, but it
was finally resolved. Anna started sleeping through the night at around 3 months. She rolled over for the first
time at about 4 months and started to sit by herself at about 5 1/2 months. When she was 5 1/2 months, she had her first
trip to France, for one month. She began crawling and pulling herself up in the same week, when she was around 7.5 months.
By a little after 8 months she was cruising and she took her first step around Thanksgiving, at about a week past 10 months.
By Christmas, she could walk OK if she wanted to and by her birthday she was a pro. Now she is running and we can hardly
keep up. She loves to look at books, play with balls and play outside. She would spend all day in the swimming
pool if she could. She is the sweetest little girl there is. She is always very happy and very loving. She
adores her little sister and wanders around the house aimlessly when Leah is taking her nap. She started preschool in
February 2004 and is now going 3 mornings a week. She loves it!
